Our mission is to supply agents and brokers with cutting-edge liability insurance products that contain specially tailored coverages combined with prompt customer service and efficient claims management. We continually reassess our product portfolio and monitor our account management and service areas to ensure that our customers - and their customers - are getting maximum return on their insurance dollar.

About Us

CoverX was founded in 1973 in response to dislocations affecting the commercial liability insurance market. Our focus then, as it is today, was to identify specific niches to which we could apply our experience and expertise in underwriting, claims and product distribution to develop products for agents and brokers across the country.

Through a variety of market conditions, CoverX has consistently served agents and brokers who serve industries and professions that have higher- than-normal liability coverage needs.

Comprehensive liability coverage that was initially designed for the security industry has now grown to include alarm contractors and private investigators. And in 2000, a new Specialty General Liability division was created to underwrite coverage for small to medium-sized contractors, oil and gas contractors, as well as industries with special habitation risks, such as hotels, restaurants and apartment complexes.
